Carlos focuses on intellectual and industrial property, specialising in trademarks, patents, licenses, and litigation related to intellectual property protection. His expertise includes comprehensive advice in the production of films and series in Chile, spanning from rights acquisition to the exploitation of audiovisual works.
Ranked by (i) Best Lawyers 2025 in Media Law; (ii) The Legal 500 Latin America 2025 in Intellectual Property (Leading Associate); and (iii) IP Stars 2024 as a Rising Star.
Daniel Álvarez Valenzuela, Director of the National Cybersecurity Agency and Chair of the Interministerial Committee on Cybersecurity, Agencia Nacional de Ciberseguridad (ANCI)
Daniel Álvarez Valenzuela is the Director of the National Cybersecurity Agency and Chair of the Interministerial Committee on Cybersecurity, both part of the Government of Chile. He is an academic at the Faculty of Law at the University of Chile, where he has led the Centre for Studies in Law, Technology and Society, and served as Editor of the Chilean Journal of Law and Technology. He has also been a lecturer at the National Academy of Political and Strategic Studies of the Ministry of National Defence.
He holds a Doctorate in Law, a Master’s degree in Public Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in Legal and Social Sciences, all from the University of Chile. He previously served as Executive Secretary of the Interministerial Committee on Cybersecurity and as Cybersecurity and Cyberdefence Adviser to the Chilean government. In these roles, he was responsible for the development and implementation of Law 21.663 – the Cybersecurity Framework Law, the National Cybersecurity Policy 2017–2022, and the Cyberdefence Policy 2018–2022, all adopted by the Chilean state.

Lizzy Seaman, legal counsel at the legal and legislative division, Ministerio Secretaría General de la Presidencia
Lizzy Seaman holds a law degree from the University of Chile and a Master of Laws from New York University. She is an adjunct lecturer at the Universidad Estatal de O’Higgins and teaches Administrative Law at the Universidad Diego Portales.
She has worked in various public institutions, including the State Defence Council and the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office. She currently serves as a lawyer in the Legal and Legislative Division of the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency, where she was involved in the legislative process of the new Data Protection Act.
Enrique Munita, founding partner, Munita Abogados
Founding Partner, his professional practice includes advising on contractual and corporate matters related to both Individual and Collective Labour Law, at national and international levels. He provides counsel in complex litigation, employee benefit schemes, and stock options. He is a lecturer in Labour Law at various Chilean universities and currently teaches postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law, Universidad de Los Andes, Chile. He also serves as Vice President of the Centre for Labour Law Studies (CEDET) and is a member of the Human Resources Committee of ICARE. He has been a speaker at numerous national and international legal conferences. Recognised by Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal, and Best Lawyer. He holds a Law degree from the Universidad de Concepción (1990) and a Master’s in Law from the Universidad de Los Andes (2010).
