GC Powerlist: Chile 2025

Legal 500 was delighted to return to Santiago for the launch of the GC Powerlist: Chile 2025, in association with Carey. The event gathered many of Chile’s leading in-house legal professionals for an evening of discussion and networking.

The evening opened with remarks from Pablo Iacobelli, Managing Partner at Carey, who offered perspectives on the evolving role of general counsel in Chile and the wider region.

This was followed by a keynote address from Macarena Vargas, General Counsel at Codelco, who spoke about the scope of the general counsel role, the development of in-house legal teams within companies, and expectations of external advisers.

The event concluded with a reception, where guests enjoyed the chance to connect with peers in a relaxed and convivial setting.
