9 Park Place’s family team is adept at handling a broad spectrum of family law cases; recent instructions include cases of fabricated illness, private law children matters, financial remedy cases and care proceedings involving physical and sexual abuse. In 2018 Owen Thomas QC took silk; Natalie Sandercock joined from 30 Park Place Chambers; and Andrew Barcello was appointed to the bench.

β€˜Excellent’ set 30 Park Place Chambers houses a team well known for its expertise in family finance. Cases involving physical and sexual abuse and non-accidental injuries form other key areas of instruction, and counsel report an uptick in cases involving suspected radicalisation of children. In November 2017 Adem Muzaffer joined from St Ives Chambers, and in February 2018 Natalie Sandercock moved to 9 Park Place.

Linenhall Chambers houses Sarah Morgan, who specialises in public and private law children proceedings; allegations of physical and sexual abuse are a core area of instruction.
