Career

Farouk Boudouane has been with L&P Partners since its creation. He is involved in complex litigation and arbitration proceedings in Algeria.

Over the past fifteen years, Farouk has represented and defended several international companies in a wide range of state litigation and arbitration cases involving commercial law, intellectual property and land law.

He has been involved in a number of complex litigation cases before Algerian courts, as well as in the enforcement of arbitral awards in arbitrations between foreign investors and Algerian private and public companies in the energy and automotive sectors.

• Counsel to Ipsen pharma in several intellectual property disputes;
• Counsel to Servier in a number of intellectual property disputes;
• Counsel to Veon in major civil and commercial litigation;
• Representation of Technip against Sonatrach before the ICC in a dispute concerning the consequences of the termination of an EPC contract;
• Counsel to Toyota Algeria in a number of commercial disputes.
