Career

Laura Rozan received a law degree with honors from the Law School of Universidad Nacional de La Matanza, and a master’s degree in Administrative Law from Universidad Austral, as well as postgraduate courses in International Arbitration also in Universidad Austral.

Laura advises companies in power generation, energy transportation and distribution sectors, in administrative and regulatory matters, with respect to energy projects and contracts. Besides, advises companies of other industries in public procurement proceedings, contracts entered in with State agencies and all kind of administrative and regulatory issues, in both administrative and judicial stages.

She also works in international arbitration proceedings, particularly related to the energy and infrastructure sectors, in commercial and investment disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the General Attorney of the City of Buenos Aires as his legal advisor.

The team has been particularly active in public tenders for greenfield renewable energy projects, advising on bids, PPA negotiations, and financing. Mariano Luchetti advises major players involved in the generation, transportation, and distribution of electricity in Argentina, and co-leads the practice with the ‘outstandingIgnacio Minorini Lima, an experienced energy, public and regulatory law practitioner who also handles domestic and international arbitration proceedings. The practice can also call on the experience of corporate partner Exequiel Buenaventura, who advises a number of power sector clients. At associate level, seniors Nicolás Dulce (oil, gas and electricity) and María Laura Rozan (regulated industries; power generation, transportation and distribution) are the main contacts.
