Career

Cauê Myanaki has extensive experience in advising local and international clients on M&A and private equity transactions, capital markets, corporate governance and administrative proceedings before the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM). Recently, he has participated in some of the major business combination transactions in Brazil involving publicly-held companies, such as Hapvida-GNDI (2021), Localiza-Unidas (2020), Stone-Linx (2020) and Aliansce-Sonae Sierra (2019). He is the Co-Chair of the Brazil Chapter – International Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). He was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Capital Markets Observatory, an initiative of the Brazilian Jurimetrics Association (ABJ) and of the Brazilian Publicly-held Companies Association (Abrasca), with a view to understanding in an empirical manner the activities performed by CVM. He regularly writes on corporate law and capital markets matters. He joined the Brazilian Bar Association – São Paulo Branch (OAB-SP) in 2008 and the New York State Bar in 2016.
