Career

Giovani focuses his practice on energy, oil & gas, and in particular, on merger and acquisition transactions, financing and regulatory issues involving these industries. He previously worked at the Houston office of Fulbright and Jaworski LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright). Licensed to practice law in Brazil, England and New York, Giovani is a founding partner and vice-chairman of the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law Studies (IBDE), a former chairman of the Oil & Gas Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), and the only Brazilian on the board of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN).
