Raphael is a partner in Dispute Resolution and Restructuring and Insolvency at Lefosse.

He specializes in litigation and arbitration with an emphasis on matters of commercial and corporate civil law including banking/finance, and infrastructure. Raphael focuses on ​​restructuring, insolvency and judicial recoveries. He also advises banks and funds in granting post-bankruptcy loans (debtor-in-possession and exit financing) and in providing funding for the acquisition of assets in debt restructurings (acquisition financing). Raphael represents clients in administrative proceedings before the CVM (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários).

Raphael graduated in Law from USP (Universidade de São Paulo) and obtained his LL.M. at Columbia University. He has experience as an international associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York.
