Matthew is a key member of Thompsons’ national clinical negligence team and serves as the team leader for the Wales and South West of England clinical negligence team, based in Cardiff.
In 2024, Matthew became an Associate at Thompsons.
He specialises in managing high-value claims involving birth-related brain injuries, adult brain injuries, spinal injuries, and limb amputation.
In addition to handling his own caseload of severe cases, Matthew leads a dedicated team of expert clinical negligence lawyers serving the Wales and South West of England region.
Since qualifying as a lawyer in March 2008, Matthew has focused exclusively on clinical negligence, earning accreditation from the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel.
