Medical Negligence


Julia is a Principal Lawyer who specialises in medical negligence at our office in Manchester.  She has over 15 years of experience in this field and specialises in cases involving brain injuries in both adults and children,  including those sustained at birth and in the neonatal period resulting in cerebral palsy.   She also deals with a wide variety of clinical negligence cases, many involving devastating injuries. Examples of these include amputation, delayed diagnosis and treatment and meningitis,  delay in diagnosing pituitary tumour, spinal injury, stroke,  loss of bowel function,  surgical injuries,  delay in diagnosing brain tumour,  gynaecological injury and various birth injuries including Erb's palsy and DDH and fatal cases.  


Julia started her career at Pannone Solicitors in 2003, became a partner in 2013 and became a Principal Lawyer at Slater and Gordon in 2014.


Julia is a member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.
