Areosa Tavares Advogados is a law firm formed by experienced professionals  with relevant performance in the market, whose purpose is to provide personalized legal services capable of providing agile, assertive and innovative responses to the advisory matters and disputes that are entrusted to the firm.

The idea of creating the firm was conceived by partners João Carlos Areosa and Daniel Tavares, lawyers with previous experience in large national law firms. Areosa Tavares Advogados was born with a team of 15 professionals and offices in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Areosa Tavares assists high-calibre, middle and small companies (domestic and international) with activities in several sectors and in the areas of dispute resolution (litigation, mediation and arbitration), succession planning, tax consulting and litigation, white-collar/investigations, labor and corporate/M&A.

Litigation, Mediation and Arbitration: Areosa Tavares Advogados’ litigation and arbitration team acts in highly strategic and complex litigation/arbitration proceedings involving the following areas: commercial, product liability, real estate, consumer protection, banking and finance, corporate, capital markets and mergers & acquisitions.

Tax: Areosa Tavares provides its clients with comprehensive advisory services in tax matters, including consulting, litigation and administrative matters, as well as direct and indirect taxes. The practice covers cases in the municipal, state and federal spheres, representing companies from the most varied economic sectors, both national and multinational.

White-Collar/Investigations: The firm is prepared to represent individuals and companies in the criminal area. We advise companies and executives with excellence, security and understanding of the various topics of criminal law and criminal procedure and other legal areas related to the case. In addition, we have developed information security, in order to offer our clients privacy protection and data security.

Corporate/M&A: The firm works in the structuring, reorganization, and dissolution of companies, as well as in the purchase and sale of equity holdings and mergers of companies, seeking to ensure legal security and compliance of business activities.
