Position

Maria Cristina has experience in all phases of intellectual property processes, having intervened in oppositions, appeals, cancellation actions, judicial process and other actions to protect distinctive signs and copyrights against illegitimate use from third parties. Likewise, she manages a constant communication with clients and correspondents (national and foreign) regarding their litigation processes and the consequent advice regarding the protection strategies of their intellectual property rights.

She has participated in administrative and judicial processes in defense of the trademark portfolio of important companies, including multinationals and large companies at a national and international level, mainly in the food and textile industry, and has also carried out actions for the protection of intellectual property rights, with the resulting sanction of the infringing activities, and in some cases, negotiation of peaceful agreements.

Her professional practice also includes trademark search reports, registration of distinctive signs, and the maintenance and modification of trademark registrations.
