With over 15 years of sector focus, Sander Simonetti knows the energy sector and its recent and coming developments inside out. His focus lies on projects, transactions, financing and disputes right across the energy and utilities sector, advising on the full range of energy issues, with particular emphasis on renewables, infrastructure and trade & supply, as well as sustainable energy projects and carbon emissions trading.
In a market committed to a rapid energy transition, clients highly value Sander’s broad knowledge of best market practice in sustainable energy projects, including wind, solar, biogas, heat and storage. Sander has played a major role in recent firs-of-its-kind energy structures and services regarding grid capacity, which has become a major issue in large projects.
