Position

Mr. Kurt is a partner in the real estate practice group. He represents local commercial developers and international investors both in deal structuring and in court, and he has extensive experience in commercial real estate litigation, negotiations, international dispute resolution, project development, and permitting and licensing

Career

Mr. Kurt began his legal career at Hergüner Bilgen Özeke as a trainee in 2001. He became an associate in 2003, a managing associate in 2011, and a partner in 2016.

Mr. Kurt is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD), and the Center for Strategic Thinking in Real Estate, and he is a co-founder and member of the Etik Değerler Merkezi (EDMER) – Ethical Values Center Association, Center for Strategic Thinking in Real Estate, Gayrimenkul için Strateji Platformu (GİSP), and the Istanbul Chapter of the International Law Institute (ILI).

Education

Mr. Kurt received his Bachelor of Laws from Marmara University School of Law in 2002, his Master of Laws in Banking and Finance from Istanbul Commerce University School of Social Sciences, and he is a Doctoral Candidate in Private Law at Yeditepe University Institute of Social Sciences.
