Career
Hampus is an experienced lawyer specialised in legal, strategic and business aspects of intellectual property, marketing and branding strategy. He counsels clients with the development of their innovation and product/brand development processes, assisting with the identification and clearance of potential ideas and branding IP opportunities.
Hampus also assists with the evaluation and drafting of commercial contracts and licensing agreements, focusing on the areas of copyright, software and technology, but with expertise and knowledge across the full spectrum of both industrial and service based organisations. An expert in protecting and enforcing IP rights, he is also a capable litigator, assisting with a range of enforcement matters, both in and out of courts.
His clients, a mix of start-ups, multinational corporations and everything in between, often commend him on his commercial awareness and ability to engage with all stakeholders, from employees to customers and partners, in identifying and developing the value of their rights.
Hampus has a law degree from Lund University (LL. M.1997). He specialized in intellectual property law, competition law and marketing law. Prior to joining Zacco in 2008, he was a lawyer at both a corporate law firm and a specialist IP law firm. He has also worked as a legal officer at the Swedish Patent Office (1997-1999).
He is a professional representative before the EUIPO and a member of various national and international associations active within the field of intellectual property.
