Position

Marta practices as an expert in project finance and advises clients on legal issues involving investments in the energy and infrastructure sector. She regularly advises Italian and foreign credit institutions, funds, special-purpose vehicles, and their sponsors both on the primary and secondary market. She specialises in drafting and negotiating financial and project documentation (also in accordance with the LMA and FIDIC standards). She has gained significant experience in the public procurement being involved in contract drafting and negotiation in matters concerning domestic and international procurement, also in accordance with the “standard documents” adopted by major international organisations and multilateral development agencies. She was a consultant for the FAO in Rome on Green Procurement and for the International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO in Geneva on projects related to the reform of the public procurement systems in Uganda and in Gambia. Marta recently worked as a secondee at the Frankfurt office in a major German law firm, where she worked in the leveraged and acquisition finance sector.

Marta Andreano joined the Firm in 2000 and became a Counsel in 2019.
