Career

Scott Janoe is Baker Botts’s Firmwide Section Chair – Environmental, Safety, and Incident Response. He represents corporate clients in EHS litigation, crisis response, compliance, ESG, and enforcement matters on the state and federal levels across the nation.

Scott clerked for the Honorable John Duhe Jr. in the Fifth Circuit from 1999-2000. In 2000 he started practicing at Baker Botts and is currently a partner as well as the Firmwide Chair of the Environmental, Safety & Incident Response Section. Scott is licensed in Texas, North Dakota and Oklahoma.
