Career

Nadia Cansun is an English partner who focuses on Corporate and M&A and commercial matters with a concentration on cross border transactions. Nadia has more than 20 years of transactional experience in emerging markets and has been working in Türkiye since 2008.

She acts for a wide range of clients on new market entries, acquisitions and disposals across various industries including the energy, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. Nadia has more than 20 years of transactional experience in emerging markets. She has advised Akfen Holding A.Ş. on its pre IPO acquisition of shares from its institutional investors, Koç Holding A.Ş. on its first acquisition in the medical devices sector, international financial institutions including EBRD, FMO and green funds advised by Finance in Motion on various equity investments and joint venture arrangements.

Prior to joining the Firm, she worked in the UK and in Moscow for an International law firm and was a partner at a Turkish law firm in Istanbul for eight years. She has She has held General Counsel roles in Moscow with a division of News Corporation operating throughout Eastern Europe and in London for a FTSE listed oil and gas company and is therefore uniquely placed to deliver advice to clients from a position of personal experience and practical and commercial relevance.
