Career

Maciej Ziółkowski is a Polish-qualified attorney-at-law advising the largest Polish and international electricity, gas, heating and chemical companies. He specializes in investment process advice in legal services for energy projects, in particular in oil & gas and renewable energy sources (RES) sectors.

He has advised on numerous M&A transactions on the Polish renewable energy market. Among others, Maciej has successfully headed the acquisition of one of the largest onshore ready-to-build wind farms in Poland and advised on its construction process. He also led a number transactions comprising successful acquisition of an operational onshore windfarms and photovoltaic (PV) projects. Maciej has also recently advised on the acquisition of PV developer in Poland together with its portfolio of photovoltaic projects of a total capacity of almost 1.1 GW.

Maciej provides day-to-day legal and business advice on projects implemented in the Baltic Sea, primarily on issues related to the investment process for offshore gas pipelines and drilling platforms. His experience also covers advice to clients developing offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea.

He has also significant professional experience in advising on EPC contracts for chemical industry facilities and power units, as well as contracts for supply, operation and maintenance of RES installations.
