Career

Chad Albert represents corporations and individuals in high-profile complex civil litigation, investigations, and white collar matters. He has played a significant leadership role in the firm’s securities litigation practice, representing financial institutions and media companies in the defense of federal securities class actions. He has also handled complex civil litigation matters involving novel issues of securities and corporate law in federal and state courts, both at the trial and appellate level. Mr. Albert has also been active in the firm’s corporate investigations practice, including representing a Special Committee of the Board of Xerox Corporation in connection with internal investigations, shareholder demands, and derivative actions.

Mr. Albert clerked for the Hon. Deborah L. Cook of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Albert was an associate at Covington & Burling LLP, representing clients in federal trial and appellate matters. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School (cum laude), where he served as Executive Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and Tufts University (magna cum laude).
