Career
Hernán is a founding partner of Fontaine & Cía. and heads the Tax Area.
He is a permanent advisor to companies and people linked to different areas of the national economy, such as real estate, construction companies, insurance companies, industry and commerce. He focuses his practice on tax advice and the design of legal strategies for the development of businesses or projects, as well as corporate and asset restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, project financing and capital markets.
He has developed a vast practice in the field of dispute resolution, serving as a mediator or arbitrator in various family, civil and commercial conflicts, and is a member of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.
