Career

Mr. Costa is the Head of the Corporate Department of LatinAlliance El Salvador. He has participated in several projects such as due diligences, mergers and acquisitions, dissolutions and liquidations of Companies, and corporate consulting for local and international Corporations. Furthermore, he has advised the creation of Corporations and the incorporation of branch offices and has provided consultancy on patrimonial structures and corporate governance.

He has a Law Degree from Universidad “Dr. José Matías Delgado” (El Salvador). Also, he is authorized by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of El Salvador as a Lawyer and a Notary Public. Mario has diplomas and courses from private and public institutions such as a Diploma in Foreign Trade from the Instituto de Comercio Exterior y Logística (ITCEL); Courses on the New Civil and Trade Procedure Codes; and Training for the Government Ethics Law and its Regulations.

Mario Costa joined LatinAlliance in 2015 and as part of the Corporate Department, and he has been involved in several projects and transactions.

Among his projects and transactions are:

– Advice to Latam Hotel Corporation in the negotiation process of purchase of the “Telus Office Building” located in Soho Cascadas. – Advice to Latam Hotel Corporation in the submission process to the condominium regime of “Condominio Desarrollos Hoteleros (Soho Cascadas)”, which included: The construction of the Hyatt Centric Hotel, an Office Building, and the commercial plaza “Soho Cascadas”.

– Advice on the modification process of condominium regime of “Cascadas Mall”. – Advice on the negotiation process of a property purchase of the company Servicios y Telecomunicaciones, S.A. de C.V. (Servitel).

– Recently, he advised EZ CORP, along with ReedSmith LLP, regarding the prevention of money laundering in accordance to Salvadoran regulations.
