Career

Alexandre Abitbol is Partner in the Ogletree Deakins Paris office. He advises French companies and French subsidiaries of international groups on individual and collectives issues, mainly with respect to redundancy plans and their litigations.

He regularly assists clients on issues related to working time, negotiating and drafting collective bargaining agreements, managing employee representative bodies and unions, collective dismissals, and transfer of workforce.

He is a visiting lecturer in employment law at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas as well as the Institute of Labor Law (Institut du Droit Social).

He has a specialization diploma in labor law and is a member of the Nanterre Labor Court.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins in 2017, he spent three years at an international law firm as a senior associate, and three years prior to that in a highly-regarded French law firm specialized in employment law.
