Position

Craig is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group’s Singapore office. Craig advises on the structure, formation, launch and maintenance of hedge funds, private equity funds, and venture capital funds, as well as downstream private equity transactions.  Craig also has experience working with mutual funds being offered to Japanese investors.

Career

Craig joined the Maples Group in Hong Kong in 2016 and relocated to Singapore in 2020.  Prior to that, he worked as a Corporate M&A lawyer at a major US firm in London, where he gained significant experience advising on cross-border M&A deals, private equity transactions, joint ventures, venture capital investments and fundraisings and other transactions on AIM.
