Career
Mr. Levine is a leader of the Firm’s insurance recovery team with more than 25 years of experience litigating insurance disputes and advising clients on insurance coverage matters. Mr. Levine’s policyholder representation focuses on claims involving property damage and business interruption, general and pollution liability, directors & officers liability and cyber, social engineering and ransomware risks. He also advises the Firm’s clients on insurance, indemnity and risk transfer solutions as well as representation and warranties matters. Mike also works with the Firm’s energy, financial services and retail clients on industry-specific insurance matters involving commercial, professional, corporate and employment liabilities.
Mr. Levine has spent his entire career advising clients about insurance matters and disputes. Initially, he represented the insurance industry in some of the highest-stakes matters, including the property and liability insurance disputes arising from the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Now he helps policyholders obtain the insurance recoveries they deserve, leveraging his substantial insurance industry experience to maximize his clients’ insurance recoveries. In recent years, Mr. Levine has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars of insurance proceeds for his clients.
