Practice focuses almost exclusively on energy tax credit matters, including tax credit transactions involving the development, purchase and sale and tax equity financing of solar, wind, fuel cell, landfill gas, energy storage technologies, qualified biogas property, carbon capture and sequestration, open-loop biomass, and geothermal facilities. Advises on obtaining private letter rulings and public guidance from the IRS on energy tax credit transactions and issues, and in connection with IRS audits, federal legislative matters and Congressional investigations relating to energy tax credits. Member of the Solar Energy Industries Association, Vice Chair of SEIA’s Solar Services & Consumers Division, and member of the Solar Energy Trade Shows’ (RE+ Events) Board of Managers.
