Alex Zhang is the seasoned head of White & Case LLP, Shanghai Office‘s corporate/M&A group in China and alongside Vivian Tsoi steers the practice group. Operating from Beijing and Shanghai, they provide vast experience of advising international corporates, SOEs and Chinese private companies on their investments or acquisitions both into and out of China and related financings. Tsoi has a focus on US-China and Europe-China cross-border deals. The group also provides specialist foreign direct investments expertise. The team stands out for its ability to bring together specialists from offices across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the USA to handle complex cross border mandates. Senior associate Yan Yan handles cross-border mergers and acquisitions and Amy Yang (counsel) undertakes private equity work and general corporate matters in addition to M&A.
