Career
Jonathon Soler is Head of Weil’s U.S. Private Funds practice and Co-Head of Weil’s U.S. Private Equity practice. Jonathon regularly represents sponsors of private investment funds in connection with the organization and operation of such funds and provides sophisticated advice regarding carried interest sharing and other economic and governance issues. He also has counseled investment firms in connection with selling significant minority interests in their businesses to institutional investors. In addition, Jonathon represents certain institutional investors in connection with their investments in a variety of private investment funds. Clients include 22C Capital, Altas Partners, American Securities, Brookfield, The Carlyle Group, Crow Holdings, Genstar Capital, Kainos Capital, Lindsay Goldberg, TPG, and Trive Capital.
