Career
David Lender, Co-Chair of Weil’s global Litigation Department, has 30 years of experience litigating and trying bet-the-company complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts around the U.S., as well as in arbitration proceedings. David focuses on antitrust, class action, consumer fraud, contract, patent, and IP matters, among others. He has tried more than 25 cases to verdict as first chair, and serves as primary and longstanding outside counsel to a wide range of market-leading companies, including BASF, eBay, Eli Lilly, ExxonMobil, GlobalFoundries, GrubHub, and Nuance Communications. He is a recognized expert on e-discovery and co-authored the treatise, Electronic Discovery: Law and Practice.
