Lawyers at Squire Patton Boggs strike the right note with their ‘excellent commercial awareness and strategy formulation‘. A particularly robust performance on the investment treaty front saw the group add four new sovereign clients to its roster over the past year, including Peru and Romania. The firm also houses an active commercial arbitration practice. Stephen Anway, whose practice is divided between New York and Washington DC, co-chairs the global international dispute resolution group and is noted for his niche expertise in natural gas price review arbitrations. New York’s Miriam Harwood co-heads the investment arbitration practice and maintains a focus on state-side representations. Carlos Guzmán Plascencia, also in New York, is a talented senior associate.
