Christina Hassan brings over 20 years of in-house and private practice experience to her clients, providing the insight needed to manage a successful hospitality company and thrive as a leader in the industry. A practical, business-minded lawyer, Christina partners with her clients to help them achieve their development, management, and operational goals through the formation and implementation of strategic business objectives. She often works as an extension of her clients’ leadership teams, advising on a full range of legal issues.

Christina represents hotel operators, private equity funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs), publicly held corporations, and real estate developers on transactions involving the acquisition, financing, disposition, franchising, leasing, and management of hotels, resorts, restaurants and special event facilities. She also counsels clients in structuring investments in hospitality properties. Christina truly has a global practice and represents clients in several countries worldwide. With multiple development deals throughout the United States, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean, Christina is well known as the go-to in the industry for boutique lifestyle hotels. She has particular expertise in dealing with complex multi-use projects which contain hospitality components.

Prior to joining Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, Christina was senior vice president and associate general counsel of Morgans Hotel Group, a boutique hotel operator headquartered in New York. While at Morgans, she was responsible for all hotel development matters, and also had primary legal responsibility for creating Morgans hotel franchise program.
