Position
Diana Situma is a partner in the corporate and commercial department. Diana has acted for both local and international clients in core practice areas including: cross-border M&A, Capital Markets, Energy, Insurance, Project Finance, Banking and Real Estate transactions. Recently, she was part of the team that advised Kenya Electricity Generating Company Limited in its KES 28billion rights issue, which was the biggest in East Africa, and also on the subscription of untaken shares following the rights issue. She is also currently advising WS Atkins and SNC – Lavalin Group INC on the regulatory approvals required and seeking approval from the Competition Authority of Kenya in the proposed acquisition of WS Atkins by SNC-Lavalin Group INC.
