Career
Mr. Dibble is a partner in the San Francisco office of Baker Botts. Clients rely on Sam’s advice in a broad array of corporate transactions, including leveraged buyouts, asset sales and other types of mergers and acquisitions. Sam helps clients raise money for their businesses in transactions including early stage financings, bank loans, complex issuances of high yield bonds, convertible debt and equity securities. Blockchain-based technology companies routinely turn to Sam for guidance in organizational matters, operation and fundraising activities, including token pre-sales, and other securities offerings. Mr. Dibble has represented public companies, investment funds, high net worth individuals, and privately held businesses in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other significant transactions in a variety of industries.
Mr. Dibble holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and prior to his career as an attorney, he was a financial consultant. As an attorney and CFA charter holder, clients benefit from Sam’s integrated knowledge of asset valuation, accounting, securities, tax and legal issues. Mr. Dibble received the 2014 Client Choice Award in the General Corporate category for California from International Law Office (ILO) and Lexology.
Sam served as the President of the San Francisco Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is currently a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Dibble previously served as Chair of the Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California.
