Position
Tom O’Connor is a partner in Akin’s finance group. He represents institutional investors, insurance companies, investment funds and other institutional lenders in connection with the acquisition of privately placed debt and equity securities and other secured and unsecured financing transactions involving issuers or borrowers located in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and Australia. Tom’s representation of institutional investors includes direct lending, PIK-Holdco, mezzanine and acquisition finance transactions. He is experienced with the complex corporate law and intercreditor aspects of finance transactions and with the modifications and restructurings of such transactions at other points in the business cycle.
