Position
Andrew is one of country’s most active patent attorneys before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the USPTO and has been involved in over 50 inter partes reviews since the start of 2015, acting as lead counsel in the majority of his cases. Andrew has considerable experience with due diligence investigations, particularly in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics field. The subject matter of Andrew’s work involves many different technologies, including gas turbofan engines, hybrid vehicle technology, and pharmaceutical formulations. His extensive experience also covers most biotechnology-related fields, such as plant molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, and immunology, as well as medical devices and other biomechanical technologies.

Career
Before entering the practice of law, Andrew served as a research fellow at Rutgers University, where he focused on molecular genetics. Andrew also served as a research associate for an immunology corporation, studying coat-protein and cellular interactions of HIV and corresponding screening assays.
