Position

Rose joined Viberts in 2000 and heads the family law team. She has established an enviable reputation for success for her clients and is widely regarded as the pre-eminent lawyer on family matters in Jersey. Under her leadership, Viberts is recognised as having the premier family law practice in Jersey.

Rose has been involved in many of the most significant family law decisions made in the Royal Court of Jersey since 2000. She is noted for both her high level of emotional intelligence which facilitates excellent client relationships and for her strong advocacy skills.

Rose deals in complex financial matters as well as cases involving children, having acted on behalf of guardians as well as the Minister for Health & Social Services. The Viberts’ family law team also has very strong links with a leading set of Chambers in London.

Rose Colley – Viberts

Viberts‘ team represents HNWIs in divorce and ancillary relief proceedings, as well as advising on matters pertaining to children, inheritance and property issues. Practice head Rose Colley handles the breadth of family law issues, handling complex financial disputes in addition to arrangements concerning children. Emma Hollywood has experience at the intersection of criminal and children law, focusing her practice on proceedings under the Children Act, non-molestation orders and divorce cases. Alexandra Cohen handles both divorces and non-matrimonial matters, as well as acting in children’s proceedings.
