Career
Lee is a Partner in our Commercial Property team.
He has 20 years’ experience in planning and regulatory law. He started his career working in-house with a local authority, giving him valuable experience of working with public sector bodies. He joined Brachers in May 2010 from another Kent-based firm and became a Partner in 2016.
Lee specialises in:
- Town and country planning law, including obligations under s106 of the Town and Country Planning Act and Highways Act agreements
- Advising developers, landowners and local authorities on major developments and regeneration schemes
- Individual householder applications and schemes under permitted development rights
- Representing clients at planning inquiries and hearings
- Environmental law
- Health and safety law
- Helping businesses and individuals respond to regulatory proceedings started by bodies such as the Environment Agency and the Health and Safety Executive
He is an experienced public speaker and also delivers training on legal issues to bodies such as the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors.
