Career

Corrina joined Gadsby Wicks in 2019, becoming a Partner in 2023, and has over 30 years’ experience as a solicitor. Spending over 20 years at Thompsons Solicitors, she has specialised in medical negligence cases since 2010, finding it both intellectually demanding and extremely varied.

As a Partner, Corrina manages a varied caseload and plays a key role in the direction of the business. She takes a thorough, considered approach in every case, with an ability to assimilate information quickly to identify the key issues. She is also actively available to help colleagues with their cases.

Corrina’s main motivation is to help people find answers following substandard medical care. She finds it incredibly fulfilling to help people obtain compensation that makes their lives a little easier and overcomes the consequences of their poor treatment. Over her career she has supported claims both worth millions of pounds and relatively modest but hard-fought amounts.

Corrina is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.

Education

Corrina achieved her LLB at the University of Liverpool in 1992, and qualified as a solicitor in 1996.
