One of the UK’s leading Family lawyers, Jay has twenty years’ experience acting for clients on a range of Family law matters, from divorces and dissolution of civil partnerships to financial claims and settlements, cohabitation agreements, child arrangement orders and both pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
Approaching each case with empathy, proactivity, and a commitment to working in his clients’ best interests, Jay has built up a solid reputation as a trusted and highly knowledgeable Family lawyer across London and the wider legal industry; he is currently ranked in the Legal 500 and is recommended in the Spear’s 500 list for 2024.
Jay primarily acts for High Net Worth Individuals on both domestic and international divorce cases which involve substantial assets, including companies and off-shore assets held in trust; previous clients have included entrepreneurs, foreign nationals, non-domiciles, politicians and sports professionals.
In addition, Jay is an accredited member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and is a Resolution-approved mediator. A skilled Children Act practitioner, Jay has also worked on a number of child abduction cases as well as applications for leave to remove children permanently abroad.
