Wanhuida Peksung adeptly ‘handles complex cases, with close communication between teams, with law enforcement agencies and clients’. It attracts a wide range of patent-related work, however, trade mark matters are a traditional strength. Names to note include founding partner Gang Bai, Hui Huang, who ‘works rigorously and carefully, achieving outstanding performance within a limited time frame’; Haiyan Ren, who focuses on trade mark and design patent filings and registrations, and Jiancheng Jiang, who handles patent prosecution and litigation matters. Key sectors of expertise include life sciences, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages and fashion. L’Oréal, Microsoft, Michelin and New Balance count among the team's clients. The practice has been bolstered by the arrival of Johnson Li from Intewig & Partners.
