Dhruv enrolled as an Advocate in 2009 and completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School, New York in 2014. He re-joined the firm in 2015 and was promoted partnership in December 2017.

Dhruv heads PSA’s Start-up/Venture Capital/Private Equity practice group where he actively advices multiple start-ups, venture funds, angel investors and family offices across a range of practice areas such as corporate/commercial, M&A, compliance and regulatory, data protection and security, foreign exchange laws, intellectual property, labour and employment, etc. Some of the sectors where Dhruv actively advices clients are healthcare (tele-medicine, e-pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical manufacturers, etc.), fin-tech, food, logistics and last-mile delivery, mapping and navigation, renewable energy, AI and machine learning, blockchain and virtual currencies, luxury apparel and accessories, hospitality (hotels and hostels), gaming, aviation, automotive, telecom and licensing, infrastructure (water, oil & gas, steel and power), etc.

Additionally, Dhruv also co-heads the Dispute Resolution practice of the firm where he represents clients before multiple forums across India. He regularly appears in the District Courts, High Courts, Supreme Court, Competition Commission of India, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, etc.

He regularly speaks at conferences as well as conducts trainings at incubators and accelerators. Dhruv has also taught short, one day courses at a leading law school in India.
