Mr. Kang San Kim joined Jipyong in March 2019 after serving as a judge in various courts. He served as a chief judge at Gwangju District Court immediately prior to joining Jipyong.
During his long tenure as a judge, Mr. Kang has handled a wide variety of cases including civil/criminal/administrative cases, taxation, family affairs, petitions and auctions. He primarily handled cases relating to reconstruction/redevelopment, industrial accidents, and taxation during his 2 years at Seoul Administrative Court, and also presided over various criminal cases at Seoul Central District Court (drugs, environment, food and health), Seoul Western District Court (economic crimes), Ansan Branch of Suwon District Court (warrants) and Gwangju District Court (corruption).
As a member of the Litigation Group (Construction & Real Estate), Mr. Kang advises clients on administrative, taxation and criminal matters and also represents them in various litigation cases, based on his wealth of experience in diverse areas.
