She has worked in the claims departments of Catlin Lloyd’s Syndicate and of a Greek-based ship management company, for 12 years at the Athens and Piraeus offices of Ince & Co and for 2 years at the Athens office of Watson Farley & Williams.

Anastasia advises clients in relation to shipping contract disputes (charterparties, bills of lading, ship sale contracts, shipbuilding contracts and bunker supply contracts) in London arbitration, the English High Court and alternative dispute resolution.

  • Acted for the buyers of two containerships which were under construction in South Korea in a substantial dispute concerning the quality of the building works following the discovery of serious welding defects leading to the cancellation of the contracts
  • Involved with a series of O.W. Bunker cases resulting in The Res Cogitans test case going to the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2016
