Career
Elena Starka is a Greek Qualified Attorney and Member of the Veroia Bar Association (Greece) with undergraduate studies in the Democritus University of Thrace (Greece) and postgraduate studies in European and International Law in the Europa Institut of the Saarland University (Germany).
Elena has worked in the Court of Justice of the European Union in the fields of legal terminology, legal informatics, legal translation and comparative law. She has served as a Legal Officer in a multinational company in Luxembourg in the area of Corporate Law and as a lawyer and legal translator in a law firm in Greece. Besides, she has been occupied as a trainee lawyer in the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Veroia. In parallel with her legal activity, she has worked for years as a foreign language teacher.
In ALG Elena provides services οn drafting and reviewing several types of contracts to support day-to-day operations of multinational pharmaceutical companies. She further provides legal research and translation services.
She speaks fluent English, French, German, Spanish and Italian and has further knowledge in Portuguese, Luxembourgish, Russian, Turkish and Arabic.
