Angela Livgieri has a strong legal and regulatory compliance background in financial and life sciences industry. She specializes in providing guidance on step-by-step compliance with the regulatory and legal requirements of pharmaceutical law, in relation to clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, transparency disclosure, and market research in various EU countries and the UK. Among others, her work covers all aspects of data protection law, and she is keen on providing a variety of privacy consulting services to pharmaceutical, healthcare, consulting, educational and legal sectors on designing, developing, implementing and maintaining global privacy programs to come up with data protection challenges in the EU and globally. During her time, Angela has completed one secondment with clients in the pharmaceutical sector and while she is acting as the Data Protection Officer for pharmaceutical companies with multinational exposure, Angela ensures compliance with data protection requirements in various jurisdictions and business departments. Among others, Angela provides strategic privacy compliance solutions to organizations including proposals of remediation action plans, online compliance, third party risk management, guidance on data protection impact assessments etc. Moreover, Angela specializes in providing guidance for step-by-step compliance with data protection requirements from legal and regulatory perspective in terms of a clinical study.

In particular, she drafts, reviews and negotiates privacy-related documentation at the clinical and preclinical stage (advice on Study Protocols, SOPs, Policies, CTAs, ICFs etc.).Finally, Angela gives back to the pharmaceutical and privacy industry as lecturer for MSc participants while she conducts privacy training programs as a preparation of Data Protection Officers for their new role and their tasks. Angela is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), a Greek qualified Attorney and a PhD candidate in private law.
