Position

Adam Moy is a General Counsel helping clients navigate their various banking and financial services  legal needs, including debt finance, investments, regulatory/compliance and governance.

Adam’s experience includes working in large banks, start-ups and scale up organisations, including most recently with an asset manager in social impact investment, delivering transactional support, legal advice and implementing projects, policies and governance. Adam has gained invaluable experience as a non-executive Trustee with charity boards.

Adam takes the time to understand your business and your people and fosters a collegiate approach with all stakeholders.

Career

Adam began his career at Clifford Chance and Skadden working on capital markets and M&A deals from 1994-2003. He joined Citigroup’s legal team in 2003 and became a Director in the Investment Bank.

Subsequently, Adam served as Bank GC at Close Brothers from 2010 and then as Head of Legal at Co-op Bank during its restructuring.

Personal

Outside of his professional life, Adam loves jazz music, performs jazz guitar and is big fan of Pat Metheny! Adam enjoys walking with his lab, Arlo!

Adam learnt a lot during his MSc sabbatical year studying Social Psychology leading to his interest in social impact investment.
