Career

Charalampos is a dual-qualified lawyer in civil law and common law. His experience covers a wide range of legal industries including administrative law and public procurement, corporate and M&A as well as renewable energy and real estate. His practice spans a broad range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising. He works with national and international business institutions on handling investigations and disputes with the capital markets and represents clients in securities high-value civil litigation disputes and negotiations. He also has experience acting for business corporations and financial stakeholders across the capital structure on cases where a resolution is achieved either through consensual means or, where necessary, enforcement or judicial proceedings. He has a particular interest in energy projects and has extensive experience in international transactions. He is an experienced arbitration practitioner and has vast experience handling litigation cases and disputes for clients in a variety of industries, in particular, energy, construction, telecoms, and retail.

As a member of multiple legal drafting committees of the Ministry of Justice he has in-depth knowledge and has greatly contributed to the Whistleblowers as well as GDPR legislation developments.

Before founding Tsianakas & Associates, he worked as an Associate in reputable Law Firms in Greece and as an in-house lawyer for a listed energy company. He has also advised a major multinational energy company with M&As and public contracts.

He is now a Senior Legal Advisor to the Minister of Justice and a PhD candidate specialising in Sanctions Law, at the Democritus University of Thrace.
