Career
Abdulredha Al Lawati has been practicing law in Oman for over 10 years and is licensed by the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs to appear before the Omani Courts. He was previously a partner in a well-known regional law firm managing the Muscat branch. At the time, he acted as the Head of Corporate and Commercial and built up the practice by dealing with a wide range of international, regional, and high-profile clients.
Prior to establishing ALC, Abdulredha was trained at one of the largest local law firms in Oman before serving as in-house counsel for one of the largest family-owned corporations in the country. Following his successful role as in-house counsel, Abdulredha joined a leading international law firm in Oman. Subsequently, he was assigned the partnership at a regional law firm where he spent almost four years developing the operation and doing business with clients, resulting in many successful achievements. This combination of experience has positioned Abdulredha to be able to advise on many complex legal matters and disputes, including but not limited to commercial and civil disputes, commercial and corporate practice, and arbitration, employment and civil issues.
Abdulredha advises also on various commercial disputes, such as construction, partnerships, contracts, and other sort of disputes which fall under more than one jurisdiction. Currently, Abdulredha’s major focus is his experience with and comprehensive understanding of Omani local laws and regulations.
