Career

As a Partner Solicitor with Wildcat Law, Paul is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales.

Paul has over 30 years work experience in law, having worked both in-house and in private practice.

He started his career as an assistant at Ambrose Appleby Partners, Solicitors, then at 7 New Square Lincoln’s Inn, London, in arears of trusts and commercial. The major business was on company, trusts and settlements and probate.

He later joined John Holt & Company (Liverpool) Ltd as Company Secretarial Manager, for its subsidiary in Lagos Nigeria.

After a brief induction period in Liverpool, he was sent to John Holt Nigeria where he was involved in restructuring of John Holt group of companies in Nigeria into the John Holt Plc, quoted in the Nigerian Stock Exchange, through inter-mergers and public floatation.

He attended various courses, including Lagos Business School. He attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Nigerian Bar.

In Nigeria, he worked largely in-house at John Holt in the areas of capital market, corporate commercial, and property. He retired an Executive Director (Group Company Secretary & Legal Adviser).

On returning to the UK, he enrolled with the BPP for the QLTT (Qualified Transfer Lawyers Transfer Test) examinations, upon successful completion of which he was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors, England and Wales in August 2008.

Paul has practised in various capacities in the UK, including as Partner and worked in various areas of the law. Lately he has been focusing on Family and Immigration.

He was a resource person in corporate governance and capital market in Nigeria and was reputed as one of the pioneers in the capital market development in Nigeria.
