Mr. Kumanan also started his practice under the guidance and auspices of Hon’ble Justice P. Sathashivam, (former Chief Justice of India). Thereafter, Mr. Kumanan worked at the Chambers of Mr. Vivek K. Tankha, Senior Advocate and Member of Parliament.

Since leaving the Chambers of Mr. Vivek K. Tankha, Mr. Kumanan qualified as an AOR, and was having a leading practice before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, various High Courts and quasi-judicial for a, having a strong and visible presence in the state of Tamil Nadu, before founding the Firm.

Mr. Kumanan’s forte has been on constitutional, civil and criminal matters as well as matters related to government accountability. He has more than 15 reported judgments to his credit.

Mr. Kumanan is a power centre in the state of Tamil Nadu, and presently enjoys the rare distinction of being one of only two standing counsels for the state of Tamil Nadu in the Hon’ble Supreme Court.  He is currently single handedly representing 22 departments of the state before the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

Mr. Kumanan enjoys a respected standing in the profession and is one of the leading members of the bar.
